Moving constantly between Montenegro and France, I encountered a world governed by signs, instructions, and invisible rules. The underground spaces of the city—metro tunnels, corridors, and regulated flows—became a metaphor for contemporary existence, where human orientation is increasingly replaced by imposed systems of control.

I borrow the visual language of traffic signs, advertisements, and identification systems and transform it into personal symbols. These simplified forms function as warnings—quiet alarms addressing the slow erosion of human identity. Figures are reduced, marked, numbered, and wrapped in FRAGILE bands, reflecting how people become products of their own systems.

Working with fast gestures, raw color, and unframed surfaces, my paintings move like luggage through space, mirroring the accelerated rhythm of urban life. Red appears as a signal of emotional freedom, vulnerability, and resistance.

My work is a quiet alarm. It does not offer solutions, but insists on awareness—on remembering that beneath the city’s automatisms, a human body still feels, trembles, and remains breakable.
