LIMLU  (Luxembourg, Iceland, Montenegro, Liechtenstein Union)

Two author's work explores the sociopolitical context of small countries, Luxembourg, Iceland, Montenegro and Liechtenstein. One part is video work that shows our interviews with citizens of Montenegro who answer the questions about the geographic positions of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Montenegro. We propose a Union of our small countries and people are discussing that idea in the video. Interviewed citizens explain the positive and negative impacts of that union and propose new ideas. People are chosen from different national, social and educational background. The other part of the installation in Kunstmuseum Vaduz consists of two big maps of Europe on the wall, in the form of a puzzle. Maps only have borders of European countries, but not their names. Some of the countries (puzzles) were already  in their place. Spectators were asked to put all the puzzle pieces on the map, a process that has leaded to surprises, because small countries were much bigger in the map then in reality.
