Swing and swinging in my installations, drawings, and animations carry multiple symbolic meanings. They are often rooted in traditional culture—associated with the prosperity of individuals and the community, with marriage, health, and agricultural fertility.
At the same time, the act of swinging has an immediate connection to eroticism and sexuality, evoking the rhythm of coitus. Yet, behind the sensation of pleasure, there is always the other side of the coin.

The work "Don't Be Afraid" invites the viewer to take part in the game of life—a game that is simultaneously an act of giving and receiving, of creation, but also of pain, aggression, and danger.
Each viewer is invited to project their own interpretation, guided by their personal perceptions, and to create meaning that is deeply individual.

The dangerous swing, made of barbed wire, injures—perhaps even kills—those who dare to swing on it.

The essential question arises: Is this the path we are destined to follow, regardless?
