Swinging—this simple, repeating motion—moves through my installations, drawings, and animations like a path unfolding into the unknown. It carries layered meanings.

Behind every moment of pleasure, another side emerges.

Don’t Be Afraid invites the viewer to step into the game of life—a space where giving and receiving intertwine, where creation cannot be separated from loss, where tenderness exists alongside danger. It is not a place of certainty, but a threshold. Each viewer enters carrying their own perceptions, their own inner landscapes, and in that encounter, meaning becomes something personal, shifting, and unresolved.

The swing—constructed of barbed wire—offers no comfort. It wounds, it resists, it threatens even those who dare to approach it. And from this fragile, suspended moment, a question lingers:

Is this the path we are already on—whether we choose it or not?
