Video animation titled Adam i… (Adam &…) treats ironically male- female relations through the story of Adam and Eve. Eve was thrown out even from the title, so the story is more about Creator Adam.

I “moved” the ancient legend about the origin of the world from traditional field of painting and wall painting to the field of high technology. I made video animation with drawings that I did in iPhone to make video more sarcastic.

This work asks questions about origin of the world, male- female relations and stereotypes, birth and death, past and future. 

Video is absurd from the beginning, women created Adam, but just after his birth Adam starts to create the rest, women, small girl, dog… Adam takes his ribs, one by one, plants them in the ground and wait Eve, child and dog to rise. Eve created from one rib appears in very confusing way in the video. She is just seductive female that makes decoration for his new world. She doesn’t have any significant role. She even runs away from him all the time. There are no relations between Adam and beings he created. The Creator quickly becomes a destructive monster that kills all that is created. Adam’s world becomes very morbid environment. Suddenly legend of genesis turns into the legend of disappearance. Video is inspired by uncomfortable and danger living in macho contemporary society. It is intentionally made without any sophisticated montage, in very naive style, with confusing parts, annoying sounds. It looks like bad video game. This world reminds me of a bad video game. Funny icons from drawing software ironically support erotic and aggressive scenes of “contemporary paradise”...

After destroying everything Adam hangs himself, realizing that he is alone in his world. Only little leaf that covered his genitals (ironically clover with 4 sheets) survives this catastrophe and could maybe create better place for living.
